Anna Kate is almost 5 and proudly rocks her extra chromosome! She’s heading into her third year of preschool, bringing joy wherever she goes. Don’t be fooled, though - she is a determined, strong-willed 4-year-old! HADSA holds a special place in our hearts, and we’re thrilled to help raise money and support such an amazing organization. This year our team will be virtual, since we can’t make it to the walk in person.
Step up with us on September 28th for the Hawkeye Area Down Syndrome Association's Step Up for Down Syndrome Walk at the Cherry Hill Park in Cedar Rapids.
The day will be filled with family fun events including food, music, team pictures, and much more!
Families in the area blessed by Down Syndrome are encouraged to start their own fundraising page, while registering to walk for their favorite team. This can all be done through the registration process.
Prizes for the largest walk team and the team raising the most money will be awarded.
Funds raised will be used to support our mission as well as our grant/scholarship projects!
